Christening Party For Our New Statue
Coming up in October we will be having a christening party for our new statue where you can win a dinner for 2 by choosing the perfect name for our new goddess. You can send your suggestions via email or just come in and have a great dinner and leave it with your server.
Successful Sunset Supper
We are proud to announce that our participating in the Pike Place Markets birthday August 15th was a wonderful success where we featured our spit-roasted pork tiropitas which were enjoyed by the crowd.
The numbers are in! This year’s Sunset Supper smashed previous records, bringing in a total of 228,620! We are thrilled with this outcome and immensely proud that we will be able to provide unprecedented support to the low-income clients of the Market’s four human service agencies in the coming year. These dollars will provide:
- Hot meals and services to the elderly at the Market Senior Center
- quality care and education for little ones at the Market Child Care & Preschool
- Healthy groceries for those who are hungry at the Downtown Food Bank, and compassionate health care for people without insurance at the Market Medical Clinic
We also had the pleasure to participate in the last Maple leaf Community gathering at the Maple leaf Playground just down the street from us.
Two Year Anniversary
Monday October 20th we will be celebrating our two year anniversary. A special menu is planned and every one attending will be treated to free champagne. So make sure you are here to celebrate with us.
